Granite is known to be one of the densest and hardest natural stones available. It’s very low in maintenance and only requires routine cleaning. Here are 3 TIPS to keep your granite looking beautiful: 1. Use mild detergent and tap water only, rinse thoroughly. 2. For stubborn spots, apply a household mild, non-abrasive cleanser with neutral pH on a damp cloth, again rise thoroughly. 3. Although granite is extremely hard and, therefore, scratch resistant, it’s not scratch proof. DO NOT cut or chop directly on your countertop, always use a cutting board.
